CTO Co‑Founder: Health AI & Financial Ops Architect

Our recruitment firm is partnering with a funded, early‑stage healthcare AI venture to identify a hands‑on CTO Co‑Founder who is ready to build from zero to one. This is a rare opportunity to shape the technology, product, architecture, and engineering culture of a company focused on modernizing healthcare payments, revenue cycle workflows, claims, denials, reimbursement, and financial operations. The organization is backed by committed early capital and supported by experienced operators, investors, advisors, commercial resources, and early customer access.

The right candidate will not be stepping into an advisory role. They will be building, coding, architecting, recruiting, and leading from day one.

As CTO Co‑Founder, you will own the technical vision and execution for an AI‑enabled platform designed to reduce manual work, improve payment accuracy, accelerate financial workflows, and bring greater visibility to a complex and highly inefficient healthcare ecosystem. This is a founder‑level role for a technical builder who wants meaningful ownership, direct influence, and the chance to create a category‑defining company in a large, regulated, transaction‑heavy market.

• Define the technology strategy, product architecture, roadmap, and engineering execution plan.
• Build and launch the initial product, including secure and scalable systems for healthcare payment workflows.
• Embed AI‑enabled workflow automation into the platform from the beginning.
• Lead integrations across healthcare, claims, payment, billing, data, and revenue‑cycle systems.
• Recruit and lead the early engineering team while remaining deeply hands‑on.
• Work closely with the CEO, investors, advisors, commercial partners, and early customers.

• Exceptional hands‑on engineering ability with strong coding, architecture, and systems design depth.
• Experience building and launching software products from concept, MVP, or early stage to production.
• Exposure to AI‑powered products, automation platforms, data infrastructure, SaaS, fintech, payments, healthcare technology, or other regulated transaction‑heavy environments.
• Strong product instincts and the ability to translate customer needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Founder‑level urgency, comfort with ambiguity, and the drive to build before process is fully defined.
• Ability to communicate credibly with founders, investors, advisors, customers, and executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
