ABOUT THE POSITIONTitle of Position: Programmer Analyst
Position Overview: We’re looking for a Programmer Analyst to support the design, development, testing, documentation, and enhancement of applications that meet the needs of the Credit Union. In this role, you’ll analyze business and technical requirements, develop and maintain software solutions, support reporting needs, and partner with IT and cross‑functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and well‑documented systems.
Position Type: Full‑Time. Regular shifts include Monday to Friday.
Compensation Range: $65,000/yr. – $90,000/yr.

Location: Hybrid/Remote Opportunity ONLY for residents in NY, NJ, or PA.
What You’ll Do- Develop, test, document, and maintain applications, reports, and integrations that support Credit Union operations.
- Analyze business and technical needs to recommend effective, scalable programming solutions.
- Write clean, reusable code and support testing, debugging, and code review activities.
- Partner with IT, vendors, and business teams to deliver projects and system enhancements on time.
- Maintain strong technical documentation, implementation plans, and project status updates.
- Support system security, data integrity, recoverability, and compliance throughout the development process.
Success in this role means developing reliable, secure, and well‑documented solutions that support business needs, improve efficiency, and enhance the employee and member experience. You’ll partner well across teams, communicate clearly, meet project timelines, and bring a proactive, detail‑oriented approach to solving technical challenges.
What We’re Looking For- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and 1–3 years of relevant experience; or 4–6 years of relevant experience in place of a degree.
- Hands‑on experience building solutions with object‑oriented programming, web development, SQL, and code repositories.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues, organize work, and manage time effectively.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with both technical and non‑technical partners.
- A detail‑oriented, adaptable approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
- Experience with Symitar Power On programming, HTML, JavaScript, or JSON.
- Working knowledge of one or more programming or data languages such as C++, C#, SQL, or XML.
- Familiarity with credit union systems, electronic delivery channels, network interfaces, AIX/Unix commands, Windows Server administration, or related financial services platforms.
