AI Applied Engineer

Overview

Applied AI Engineer to help identify, build, and deploy practical AI solutions across the organization. This role partners with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and end users to transform AI capabilities into scalable, production-ready tools that enhance trading, research, and operational processes. This is a highly hands-on role focused on execution and delivery, owning the full lifecycle of AI initiatives from evaluating opportunities and developing prototypes to deploying, optimizing, and maintaining solutions in production.

The role bridges technical expertise and business needs to create AI-driven workflows that improve efficiency and streamline operations.

Salary: 150k

• Identify opportunities for AI-powered solutions and develop production-ready implementations that scale across the organization.
• Own the full lifecycle of AI initiatives—from evaluation, prototyping, and development to deployment, optimization, and maintenance in production.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, business stakeholders, and end users to translate requirements into effective AI workflows that improve efficiency and operations.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI-powered applications
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience building applications using LLMs and AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Experience with evaluating and fine-tuning closed models
• Demonstrated ability to build and ship AI-driven tools or workflows
• Experience deploying applications (AWS, Azure, GCP, VM environments, or similar)
• Ability to independently build, deploy, and maintain internal tools
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or creative field
• Experience with AWS
