RoleWe are building intelligent products that bring generative AI into the physical world. As a Software Engineer, you will help develop platforms, APIs, and systems that bring large language models and other generative technologies into real-world applications. Our systems span the software–hardware boundary, combining low-latency inference pipelines, robust cloud infrastructure, and tightly integrated product experiences. You will work closely with engineers and the research team to convert ideas into well-functioning code.
This role blends product engineering with systems design and offers the opportunity to shape how users interact with AI through the products they use.
- Design and build distributed services that are performant and maintainable
- Own projects end-to-end, from design to deployment and monitoring
- Collaborate with ML engineers, product managers, and infrastructure teams
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical deep dives
- Contribute to team standards and continuously improve system reliability and performance
- Languages:
Python, Go, Type Script - ML:
PyTorch, Hugging Face, ONNX Runtime, Lang Chain - Infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Redis, Postgres, S3, Terraform
- Dev Ops & Observability:
Git Hub Actions, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience building and operating backend systems or distributed services
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design
- Experience working with machine learning pipelines or AI infrastructure
- Familiarity with cloud-native systems (e.g., Kubernetes, serverless, event-driven architectures)
- Ability to take a problem from design through to production independently
- Prior experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small technical efforts

Compensation and BenefitsYou’ll Benefit From — Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits. Pay range for this position is $137,210 - $185,191 annually with a target incentive of 10% of base salary. Final wages depend on budget, candidate experience, and location.
