Founding Engineer

This AI company builds the orchestration layer for how the physical world gets built. They analyze billions of signals to predict where major construction projects will occur, helping architects, engineers, and builders find, win, and deliver their next multi-million-dollar projects.

As the 5th hire on a small founding team, you will not be a ticket-taker. You will own features end-to-end—from idea to production—shaping the product, technology, and culture directly alongside the founders. You will hunt for non-obvious signals that predict new construction and turn them into features for the prediction layer. This role is as much product and customer focused as it is engineering, shipping real software to real users quickly.

• Design and build the core prediction layer, identifying non-obvious signals for future construction projects.
• Own features end-to-end, from initial concept and research to production deployment and iteration.
• Integrate and deploy LLMs into production systems to enhance signal analysis and prediction accuracy.
• Engage directly with leading architecture, engineering, and construction clients to gather feedback and inform product development.

• Proven hands‑on experience building and deploying LLMs into production environments.
• Desire to own the full stack end‑to‑end, from ideation to customer-facing features.
• Strong product curiosity and proactive approach to problem-solving; you ask questions instead of waiting for specs.
• Based in New York or willing to relocate, committed to working in person five days a week.
