Job Duties Lead the complete modernization and re-engineering of a legacy Struts-based application, transforming monolithic architectures into scalable and maintainable enterprise solutions aligned with target-state technology standards.

Drive architecture decisions and establish modernization roadmaps for migrating applications from IBM Web Sphere to modern Java-based platforms utilizing Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Angular.

Analyze existing business processes, application functionality, integrations, and technical dependencies to identify modernization opportunities and migration risks.

Design and develop high-performing enterprise applications with focus on resiliency, scalability, security, maintainability, and operational excellence.

Provide technical leadership across development teams through architecture reviews, code reviews, design sessions, and engineering best-practice adoption.

Lead Web Sphere migration, middleware modernization, application deployment, and production cutover planning activities.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, architects, systems analysts, quality engineers, and product owners to ensure successful delivery of modernization objectives.

Drive implementation of CI/CD, Dev Ops automation, observability, and performance optimization initiatives across the modernization workstream.

Mentor engineers and establish development standards for Java, Angular, Spring Boot, API development, cloud adoption, and application modernization.

Support technical risk analysis, issue resolution, and delivery governance activities throughout the lifecycle of the transformation initiative.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: [$106230 to $145000]Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting.
