Senior Front-end Engineer, AI

Responsibilities

• Drive the cultural and technical shift toward AI‑augmented engineering, empowering peers to work smarter and ship faster.
• Transform development patterns and deliver new experiences to users by employing AI tools.
• Translate new browser technologies into real value for users.
• Work with modern Web technologies such as Web Components to create portable, reusable UI.
• Work with research and other engineering teams to integrate and refine AI and LLM experiences.
• Help shape architectural and product design details when tasks or specifications are open‑ended.
• Collaborate with teammates across all functional disciplines to ensure quality in all phases of development.
• Write beautiful, self‑documenting code that others can easily read and adapt.
• Write and review engineering documents, review design specs and participate in regular code reviews.

• A bachelor's degree (or masters) in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience developing modern Web applications, with strong programming fundamentals.
• Experience building large, performance‑conscious, interactive web applications.
• Experience with Type Script.
• Experience with Generative AI and LLMs.
• Experience with AI Coding Tools.
• Experience working with large, modular products and codebases.

The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 – $301,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.

In California, the pay range for this position is $208,300 – $301,600. In New York, the pay range is $208,300 – $301,600. In Washington, the pay range is $190,200 – $275,400.
