Backend Developer
Backend Software Engineer position with a fast-growing, AI-driven company in NYC focused on building infrastructure for managing and verifying complex data team is tackling interesting challenges across large-scale data processing, workflow automation, and transforming unstructured information into structured, auditable outputs.
From a technical perspective, they're looking for someone who can:
- Build and scale backend systems using Python (or similar languages)
- Design and operate data pipelines and distributed systems
- Develop robust, well-designed APIs used across internal services and customers
- Work with graph databases and data storage solutions (e.g., Neo4j, Postgres, Redis)
- Deploy and manage services in a Kubernetes-based environment
This is a deeply backend-focused role, centered around building reliable, high-performance systems and infrastructure. There's also exposure to modern AI-driven workflows and integration with intelligent systems, though deep ML expertise isn't required.
The environment is fast-paced and highly technical, with strong ownership and the opportunity to shape core architecture as the company scales. They're ideally looking for someone with solid backend experience, strong system design skills, and a track record of working with production data systems.
