Senior Frontend Engineer

Paperless Post is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to craft the rich, polished experiences that millions rely on to celebrate moments that matter. You’ll drive frontend architecture decisions and partner closely with product and design as part of a deeply collaborative team.

• Drive frontend architecture decisions for a consumer‑facing product used by millions of people each month.
• Partner closely with product and design teams to ensure seamless, polished user experiences.
• Mentor and collaborate with cross‑functional engineers.

• 6+ years of experience developing for web or mobile platforms in an established codebase.
• Expert‑level fluency in orchestrating agentic AI workflows; leverage tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot to manage multiple streams of work.
• Cultivate a collaborative mindset that supports clear communication and constructive feedback.
• Passion for solving problems and building features for end users.
• Strong critical thinking skills, able to influence architecture and articulate technical decisions across teams.
• Ability to mentor engineers and work effectively with cross‑functional teams.

• Expertise in Type Script & React and proficiency in GraphQL.
• Familiarity with Next.js, SSR concepts, and frontend tooling.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive layouts, and accessibility best practices.
• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines such as CircleCI.
• Experience with software testing, including unit and end‑to‑end tests using Cypress, Jest, Testim, or Detox.
• Nice to have: hands‑on React Native experience building and shipping features.
• A plus: experience in Golang, Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Java.

The compensation range for this role is $152,100 – $185,000 USD.
