Sr. Software Engineer, Front-End

Our engineers work closely with product managers, designers, and data scientists to build innovative tools and services that make hotel booking seamless, efficient, and enjoyable.

• Experience with Java, JavaScript, Type Script, and Angular Frameworks
• Collaborate on application design with application development teams
• Implement significant portions of the system and help others in the implementation
• Understand how key technical decisions will drive business outcomes and deliver frameworks and platforms that improve delivery with high-quality outcomes
• Ability to work in full stack development as well; knowledge of backend systems is a plus
• Own features end to end, from collaborating with product and designers to shipping features and monitoring impacts
• Perform design and code reviews of other engineers at Navan
• Establish credibility with smart engineers quickly
• Build developer frameworks that improve developer velocity, code quality, and code health
• Expertise in front‑end operational excellence—reliability, performance, instrumentation, and measurability first
• Understand technical aspects of our front‑end systems and identify areas for improvement
• Drive changes to the front‑end pipeline to improve developer experience and time to ship
• Work with the team to define an approach for application performance monitoring and improvement
• Mentor engineers on best practices and patterns

• 5+ years of UI development experience
• Track record of driving change in engineering organizations
• Ability to motivate people, instill accountability, and achieve results
• Experience with Spring Boot
• Experience with React
• Knowledge of Jenkins

Pay Range: $113,400 - $252,000 USD
