The Technical Director will provide technical leadership across multiple projects, supporting delivery teams, advising senior stakeholders, and ensuring technology solutions align with business objectives.

Define technical direction and provide oversight across complex projects. Support architecture, design, and technology decisions. Work with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions. Oversee project delivery, quality, risk, scalability, and long-term maintainability. Lead and mentor technical teams while promoting strong engineering standards. Support project planning, staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation. Contribute to client proposals, discovery sessions, and solution planning.

Identify opportunities to improve delivery, expand existing work, and introduce new technologies. Stay informed on developments across software engineering, cloud technology, data, and AI.

Extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership. Strong knowledge of software architecture, cloud platforms, databases, and distributed systems. Experience overseeing multiple technical projects or work streams. Proven ability to lead senior engineering teams and guide complex technical decisions. Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Experience supporting technical discovery, solution design, or pre-sales activities.

Understanding of modern engineering practices and emerging technologies. Ability to balance technical quality, delivery timelines, and commercial requirements.

Experience in consulting, professional services, SaaS, or digital transformation environments. Experience working with distributed or remote teams. Exposure to project budgets, forecasting, and resource planning. Experience with AI-enabled products or solutions. Involvement in technical communities, mentoring, or knowledge-sharing initiatives.
