Quantitative Developer — Systematic Trading Firm
Location:

This role sits at the intersection of research and engineering, partnering directly with quantitative researchers and portfolio managers to design, build, and deploy the systems that power the firm's trading strategies. You'll work on production-critical infrastructure spanning signal research, backtesting, execution, and risk — with direct exposure to how quantitative ideas translate into live trading decisions.
Responsibilities- Design and build tools and infrastructure to support quantitative research, strategy development, and signal generation.
- Partner closely with researchers to product ionize models and strategies, ensuring correctness, performance, and scalability.
- Develop and maintain backtesting frameworks, simulation environments, and research librar
- Build and support execution and risk systems used across live trading strategies.
- Improve internal platforms for data access, research workflow, and model deployment.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues quickly, with a strong ownership mindset given the trading-critical nature of the systems.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++ (or similar high-performance languages).
- Solid foundation in statistics, probability, and applied mathematics.
- Strong computer science fundamentals — algorithms, data structures, and software de
- sign Prior experience in quantitative finance, systematic trading, or a related highly technical, research-driven environment preferred.
- Comfortable working directly with researchers and traders to translate ideas into production systems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related quantitative field preferred but not required.
