Job Description & How to Apply Below
We're partnering with one of the world's leading quantitative trading firms as they continue to invest heavily in their next generation trading platform. You'll work on some of the fastest systems in finance, building infrastructure where latency, performance and reliability directly impact trading success.
You'll join a team of world-class engineers solving challenging distributed systems and low-level
performance problems every day.
What you'll work on
- Design and build ultra-low latency C++ systems powering electronic trading.
- Optimise critical code paths, networking and memory management.
- Develop high-performance market data and execution infrastructure.
- Work close to traders and researchers to turn ideas into production systems.
- Profile, benchmark and continuously improve performance across the stack.
What we're looking for
- Strong understanding of low latency programming techniques.
- Experience with multithreading, lock-free programming and concurrency.
- Knowledge of Linux internals, networking and systems programming.
- A passion for writing elegant, highly optimised software.
Experience from proprietary trading, hedge funds, exchanges or market makers is ideal, but we're equally interested in exceptional engineers from high-performance software backgrounds.
- Work alongside some of the strongest C++ engineers in the industry.
- Highly collaborative, engineering-first culture.
- Significant ownership from day one.
- Market-leading compensation and performance bonuses.
