Software Engineer — Aaru (Platform / Infrastructure)
New York City (Onsite, 6 days/week)
$200K–$440K base + equity

The RoleYou will work across platform and infrastructure, building systems that power large-scale AI simulations and agent workflows.
What You’ll Do- Design and build high-performance backend and infrastructure systems
- Develop LLM-powered simulation and agent systems
- Build scalable data ingestion and processing pipelines
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and latency
- Work end-to-end across product, research, and engineering
- Collaborate closely with founders and cross-functional teams
- 1+ years of experience in full-stack, backend, or infrastructure engineering
- Experience at a high-bar startup, top team, or quant environment
- End-to-end product or system ownership
- Strong full-stack or backend skills (T-shaped)
- Top school degree (CS, Math, Physics, or similar)
- Experience with LLMs or agent-based systems
- Proficiency in Python, Type Script, or Rust
- Highly collaborative and able to work with product/design/founders
- Willing to work 6 days/week onsite in NYC
- Experience in growth-stage startups (10 → 100 engineers)
- Background at Series B+ companies
- Deep interest in AI systems and predicting human behavior
- Series A company at $1B valuation
- Small, elite team with high ownership
