Data Engineer

Location: New York

We're looking for a Data Engineer to help build and modernize data pipelines that support analytics, business operations, and AI-driven initiatives. This on-site opportunity in New York offers the chance to work across a range of business domains, partnering closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions on an AWS-based platform.
Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support data pipelines and BI solutions that improve data access, freshness, and reliability
• Develop and optimize ETL workflows to strengthen data quality and operational performance
• Contribute to modernization efforts by migrating legacy processes to an AWS-based environment
• Work closely with business partners to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
• Collaborate with science and engineering teams to prepare data foundations for AI solutions and production use cases
• Support operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and issue reduction
• Use modern development tools and approaches to improve productivity and code quality

Skills

• 3-5 years of data engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with Informatica workflow design and implementation
• Strong knowledge of ETL development and data pipeline optimization
• Experience working with AWS data engineering tools and services such as Glue, Lambda, Event Bridge, Cradle, and S3
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience with Informatica in a similar environment
• Exposure to Databricks and Snowflake
• Apache Airflow experience
• Experience supporting AI-related data initiatives
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
