Software Engineer, Backend Developer, Software Architect

As a Staff Software Engineer
, you'll play a key role in designing and building scalable backend systems that power AI-driven products. You'll help shape technical direction, solve complex engineering challenges, and work alongside a highly talented team building next-generation technology.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python
• Architect and develop high-performance REST APIs
• Design and optimise data models using MongoDB and Redis
• Build reliable distributed systems with a focus on scalability and performance
• Drive technical decisions and contribute to software architecture
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams
• Mentor engineers and champion engineering best practices
• Contribute to AI-powered features and platform innovation

• 8+ years of commercial Python development experience
• Strong experience designing scalable backend architectures
• Extensive experience building production REST APIs
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Redis
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and multithreading/concurrency
• Experience working with cloud-based applications
• Exposure to AI, Machine Learning, or Large Language Models (LLMs) is highly desirable
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
