Role Overview :

As an Integration Tech Lead within TDAV, you will drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise integration solutions that power New York Life’s digital ecosystem. You will lead modernization initiatives leveraging Mule Soft, Spring boot, cloud-native architectures on AWS, and API-led connectivity to enable seamless data exchange across business platforms.

This role plays a critical part in advancing scalable, secure, and resilient integration frameworks, while aligning with enterprise architecture standards and enabling innovation through an AI-first development mindset. You will collaborate closely with business, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions across Finance and Insurance domains.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead end-to-end design and delivery of integration solutions using Mule Soft, Spring boot, microservices, and API-led architectures
  • Define and enforce best practices for API design, integration patterns, and reusable component development
  • Architect and implement scalable integration solutions on AWS leveraging cloud-native services
  • Drive modernization of legacy integrations into decoupled microservices and API-based ecosystems
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools and modern coding assistants to accelerate software delivery, improve code quality, and enhance developer productivity.
  • Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to development teams across onshore/offshore models
  • Collaborate with enterprise architects, product teams, and business stakeholders to align integration strategy with business goals
  • Ensure solutions meet non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, security, and resiliency
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and automation for integration delivery
  • Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement for production systems
What You’ll Bring :
  • 7–10 years of experience in integration architecture, development, and delivery
  • Strong expertise in Mule Soft, Spring boot and API-led connectivity
  • Hands‑on experience building microservices and distributed systems on AWS
  • Proven ability to design scalable, secure, and high‑performance integration solutions
  • Solid understanding of API design principles (REST, OpenAPI, versioning, governance)
  • Experience working in Financial Services / Insurance domain
  • Strong problem‑solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to lead technical teams and drive delivery in Agile environments
Required Skills:
  • Mule Soft (Design, Development, API Manager, Runtime Fabric)
  • AWS Cloud Services (Lambda, Glue, MSK, API Gateway, S3, ECS/EKS, Step Functions)
  • Integration patterns & best practices (API-led, event-driven, messaging, batch)
  • Microservices architecture & distributed system design
  • API design concepts (RESTful APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, governance)
  • Dev Ops & CI/CD (Git, Jenkins/Harness Dev Ops, automated testing frameworks)
Preferred

Skills:
  • Experience in Finance / Insurance domain (Policy Admin, ACORD standards)
  • AI-first development approach (use of AI-assisted coding, automation, or intelligent workflows)
  • Knowledge of event streaming platforms (Kafka, MQ)
  • Familiarity with security standards (OAuth2, JWT, Zero Trust architecture)
  • Exposure to observability tools (New Relic, Cloud Watch, Page Duty)
Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $124,000-$177,000

Overtime eligible:
