Software Engineer

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join the RMS Global Sustainment, Information Systems & Innovation (IS&I) organization. This role will be responsible for and work directly with the IS&I Dev Sec Ops  Team to develop next-generation sustainment solutions across multiple programs. As an early career hire on our Software Engineering team, you can help us take on the world's most important and complex challenges by providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity under general supervision.

In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse team of technical professionals and interact with outside customers. The primary responsibilities for this opportunity will be supporting Laser and Sensor System quarterly patch maintenance development. Position will require occasional business travel to customer locations where Laser Experienced Professional New Weapon Systems (LWS) are hosted to assist in patch deployment.

List of responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Perform all stages of the software development life cycle (design, develop, and test)
• Create/update technical documentation for applications and systems (design document, requirements documents, test procedures, user procedures, installation procedures, etc.)
• Setup, configure, and maintain LWS

Basic Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the open-source command-line utility for computers running the Linux operating system
• Skilled at Linux admin processes (Linux configuration files, basic Linux management commands, etc.)
• Skilled at Windows admin processes (registry updates, application installation/configuration, group policy settings, etc.)
• Experience in scripting languages (Power Shell, Bash, Batch scripts, etc.)
• Knowledge of software systems and software development techniques (Agile)
• Software and application troubleshooting skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tool suite
• US Citizen Required

Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
