Experience: Senior Level

Salary: $200,000 - $260,000 per year

• Building agentic systems that automate complex, multi step workflows end to end
• Designing scalable backend systems, APIs, and event driven architectures
• Developing AI powered features using LLMs in production environments
• Improving system performance, reliability, and data models as the product scales
• Building clean, intuitive user facing and internal tools
• Designing integrations with external platforms and services
• Evolving system architecture to support rapid growth and increasing complexity

• 4+ years of experience building and shipping production systems
• Strong backend fundamentals, Python preferred for backend focused engineers (NodeJS is fine too)
• Full stack experience across modern web frameworks (React and Typescript preferred)
• Experience with distributed systems, async processing, or event driven architectures
• Interest or experience in building AI native or LLM powered products
• Strong product instincts and attention to detail
• High ownership mindset and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast moving environments

We’re partnering with a startup building AI powered systems to modernize a complex legacy industry that has historically relied on manual workflows and outdated tooling. In under a year, the company reached ~$10M ARR, became profitable, and is on track to scale to ~$50M ARR this year.

The product sits at the intersection of AI, automation, and real world impact, using LLMs and agentic systems to replace hours or weeks of manual work with intelligent, scalable software. This is a rare opportunity to join early at a company with strong product market fit, real revenue, and meaningful mission driven outcomes.

We are looking for candidates open to working 3-4 days/week in San Francisco or New York City.
