CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a Measurements Engineer I.

Pay Rate: Based on experience

Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm

Education: BS degree required; advanced degree preferred in Data Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, EE, ECE, or Optics

Join the Engineering Measurements & Controls group to develop software and algorithms for imaging data that support inspection and production of advanced products.

• Develop software and image processing algorithms for inspection technology.
• Collaborate with the measurements group to manipulate data for production and quality feedback.
• Transfer early-stage technology to production-ready applications.
• Create/update documentation and train personnel on applications and procedures.
• Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting using data analysis.

• Knowledge of Object‐oriented programming and software architecture.
• Experience with image‑processing algorithms (blob analysis, edge finding, morphology, feature extraction, classification, metrology).
• Data retrieval, plotting, and analysis.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Experience with Halcon or OpenCV.
• Machine learning (CNNs and traditional methods).
• Statistical analysis and MEE concepts.
• Database interfacing.
• Experience in metrology, inspection, product quality, and optical measurement systems.

• Effective team and customer interaction.
• Independent, results‑oriented, quick learner, able to multitask.
