Build technology that changes lives.
Our client is building one of the most exciting AI platforms in healthcare today.
They’re redefining how mental healthcare is delivered by combining licensed clinicians with AI in a thoughtful, clinically responsible way—not replacing therapists, but empowering them to provide better care, improve patient outcomes, and extend their impact beyond the therapy session.
Backed by experienced founders with multiple successful startup exits, the company has quickly grown from early product development to supporting some of the country’s largest behavioral health organizations. With strong funding, growing enterprise adoption, and an ambitious product roadmap, they’re looking for exceptional engineers who want to build technology that genuinely improves people’s lives.
If you’re energized by owning products from idea to launch, thrive in startup environments, and enjoy building elegant software for real users, we’d love to talk.
What You’ll DoYou’ll own meaningful product initiatives from concept through production.
Working alongside Product, Design, Clinical, and Engineering teams, you’ll help build intuitive experiences that serve both patients and healthcare providers while contributing to the backend systems that power the platform.
Responsibilities include:
- Build modern web and mobile experiences using React and React Native.
- Design and develop scalable backend services supporting core platform functionality.
- Own features end-to-end—from planning through deployment and iteration.
- Partner directly with clinicians, designers, and product leaders to solve complex workflow challenges.
- Participate in product discovery and user research.
- Build APIs and services supporting AI-powered healthcare experiences.
- Improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Help shape engineering best practices within a growing startup.
We’re looking for product-minded engineers who love building software people actually use.
Ideal candidates have:
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience with React and modern frontend development.
- Experience building production applications using React Native.
- Experience building products from 0?1 or through major product launches.
- Startup or high-growth company experience.
- Strong product intuition and empathy for end users.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Bonus experience includes:
- Next.js
- Python
- AWS or GCP
- REST APIs
- AI-powered applications
You’ll do well if you:
- Love building products—not just writing code.
- Care about creating beautiful user experiences.
- Take ownership without waiting for direction.
- Enjoy collaborating with designers and product teams.
- Are excited by ambiguity and early-stage startups.
- Want your work to directly impact thousands of people.
Meaningful Mission
Every feature you build has the potential to improve access to high-quality mental healthcare and support better patient outcomes.
AI Built Into the Product
This isn’t a legacy platform with AI bolted on later.
AI is foundational to the product and every engineer plays a role in shaping how it evolves.
Real Product Ownership
You’ll own features from idea through production while working closely with founders, designers, clinicians, and customers.
Exceptional Leadership
Join experienced founders who have previously built, scaled, and exited successful technology companies.
Meaningful Equity
As an early member of the engineering team, you’ll receive a meaningful ownership stake and help shape the future of the business.
