- Design, develop, and maintain custom AEM components, templates, and workflows across Sites, Assets, and Forms
- Use the AEM authoring interface to support QA, testing, and collaboration with content authors
- Integrate AEM with third‑party services and internal systems, including personalization engines, analytics, and asset repositories
- Participate in technical design discussions and solution architecture with the Solutions Director and implementation partner
- Ensure platform stability, performance, and security through AEM development best practices
- Support international site rollouts, localization workflows, multilingual services, and multi‑site management
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and platform issues with QA and operations teams
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers or partner teams
- Develop and enforce component libraries, code standards, and documentation
- Collaborate with Dev Ops on builds, deployments, and environment setup
- 5+ years of hands‑on development experience with Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, Assets, Forms)
- Proficiency in Java, Sling, OSGi, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AEM front‑end frameworks
- Experience building and maintaining custom components, templates, and editable authoring tools in AEM
- Understanding of AEM architecture, dispatcher configuration, and content repository structure (JCR)
- Experience with RESTful APIs, third‑party integrations, and workflow customizations
- Familiarity with localization workflows and AEM multi‑site/multi‑language architecture
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail in debugging and testing code
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Preferred:
Experience with Adobe Managed Services (AMS) or AEM as a Cloud Service - Preferred:
Familiarity with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, or Adobe Launch - Preferred:
Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and performance optimization best practices - Preferred:
Experience working in an agile or hybrid delivery environment with CI/CD pipelines - Adobe certification in AEM development or architecture is a plus
Demonstrates extensive experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development, including custom component creation, integration with third‑party services, and adherence to best practices for performance and security. Proficient in Java, Sling, OSGi, and front‑end technologies, with a strong focus on localization and multi‑site management.
