We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in Fiserv PEP and ACH Payments. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the Fiserv PEP application, implementing technical and functional changes, supporting production issues, and ensuring the smooth processing of ACH transactions. This role requires a combination of strong mainframe development skills and deep functional knowledge of ACH payment processing.

Support, maintain, and enhance the Fiserv PEP application. Develop and implement technical and business-driven enhancements. Ensure application stability, performance, and reliability. Provide ongoing production support and issue resolution.

Design, develop, and maintain solutions using: COBOL JCL DB2 CIS CSV SAM. Perform code analysis, debugging, testing, and deployment activities. Participate in application upgrades and system improvements.

Support end-to-end ACH payment processing workflows. Understand and manage: ACH transaction processing Settlement processing Returns Corrections Exception handling. Ensure compliance with ACH operating rules and business requirements.

Analyze and resolve ACH processing issues, defects, and production incidents. Troubleshoot payment failures, processing bottlenecks, and reconciliation issues. Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions. Coordinate resolution efforts with business, operations, and support teams.

Mainframe Technologies:
Strong hands-on experience in: COBOL JCL DB2 CIS CSV SAM. Experience supporting and enhancing large-scale mainframe applications. Fiserv PEP Expertise:
Proven hands-on experience with Fiserv PEP. Ability to support, troubleshoot, and enhance PEP-based payment applications. Experience implementing technical and functional changes within the platform. ACH Payments Knowledge:
Strong understanding of: ACH Payments NACHA File Formats ACH Processing Workflows ACH Settlement Processes ACH Returns and Corrections Exception Processing. Ability to analyze payment processing issues from both technical and functional perspectives. Analytical & Communication

Skills:

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional business and technology teams.

Experience with in banking or financial services organizations. Knowledge of payment operations and transaction processing systems. Exposure to production support and incident management processes. Experience with high-volume payment processing environments.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $80000 - $120000/per annum.
