Java Angular Full Stack Developer

Insight Global is seeking a Full Stack Java Angular Developer to join a leading financial services organization in New York City. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications across both the front-end and back-end. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular, and will play a key role in building new features, enhancing existing platforms, and supporting the full software development lifecycle from design through deployment.

This person will collaborate closely with engineers, data teams, project managers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions while adhering to Agile development practices, security standards, and modern engineering best practices. The role offers the opportunity to work on impactful initiatives, contribute to architecture and application design decisions, and help drive continuous improvement across the development organization.

• 5-10 years of full stack development experience (Java and Angular)
• Strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, Spring JPA, and Spring Data
• Experience building and maintaining scalable, distributed applications
• Experience with relational and/or No
  
  SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Git Lab, and Kubernetes
• Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with in financial services, banking, or securities industries
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Windsurf and Claude Code
