About The Role

My client are for a Python Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automation tools and scripts that streamline our workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency across the organization.

Job Title:

Python Automation Engineer What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python
Identify manual, repetitive processes and build solutions to automate them
Integrate automation tools with internal systems, APIs, and third-party services
Build and maintain CI/CD pipeline automation
Write clean, well-documented, and testable code that other teams can rely on and extend
Monitor and troubleshoot automation tooling in production, resolving issues quickly
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand workflow pain points and translate them into automation requirements
Maintain version control and documentation for all automation tools and scripts

What We're Looking For

Strong proficiency in Python, including experience building tools used by other people/teams
Experience with REST APIs and integrating with third-party services
Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI)
Comfortable working with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting
Understanding of software testing principles (unit testing, test automation)
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple automation projects
Clear communication skills, able to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible)
Background in Dev Ops or security automation
Experience with data processing libraries (Pandas, etc.)
