Job Description & How to Apply Below
C++ Systems & Performance Engineer – Quant Trading – NYC
This is an opportunity to build performance-critical systems within a highly technical quantitative trading environment, where C++ is central to the engineering rather than simply one implementation language among many.
Depending on your strengths, you could work across real-time market data, execution systems, pricing and risk infrastructure, simulation platforms, foundational libraries or large-scale compute.
What you’ll do- Build performance-critical systems in modern C++
- Work across areas including market data, execution, simulation and core trading infrastructure
- Profile and optimize systems across memory, CPU, compiler, operating system and network
- Own technically challenging components from design through production
- Deep production experience with C++
- Strong systems fundamentals: memory, concurrency, data structures and computer architecture
- Experience building high-performance, real-time or large-scale systems
- Engineers who care about cache locality, allocations, compiler behaviour and how software performs in practice
- C, Rust, Linux, networking, GPU or compiler experience is highly relevant
You’ll join a small, exceptionally strong engineering team, work on systems where performance has measurable impact and receive compensation at the top end of the market.
