C++ Systems & Performance Engineer – Quant Trading – NYC

This is an opportunity to build performance-critical systems within a highly technical quantitative trading environment, where C++ is central to the engineering rather than simply one implementation language among many.

Depending on your strengths, you could work across real-time market data, execution systems, pricing and risk infrastructure, simulation platforms, foundational libraries or large-scale compute.

• Build performance-critical systems in modern C++
• Work across areas including market data, execution, simulation and core trading infrastructure
• Profile and optimize systems across memory, CPU, compiler, operating system and network
• Own technically challenging components from design through production

• Deep production experience with C++
• Strong systems fundamentals: memory, concurrency, data structures and computer architecture
• Experience building high-performance, real-time or large-scale systems
• Engineers who care about cache locality, allocations, compiler behaviour and how software performs in practice
• C, Rust, Linux, networking, GPU or compiler experience is highly relevant
