Operates across five major segments spanning optical communications, specialty materials, display technologies, environmental technologies, and life sciences. The company's work shows up in products most people use every day, from consumer electronics to automotive to medical devices.
This role sits within one of their U.S. manufacturing or engineering operations.
- Programming experience across a mix of languages such as C#, Python, C++, Java, or MATLAB
- Version control experience with a tool such as Git, Git Lab, or Sub Version
- Design, develop, and debug software that supports measurement, inspection, gauging, and data collection
- Build software for machine vision, image processing, and machine learning based reporting systems
- Interface with sensors, motion systems, lighting, and cameras, and write the logic that operates on the data they generate
- Support both early stage projects and mature, high volume manufacturing software systems
- Resolve software issues and contribute ongoing improvements and enhancements
- Follow established software development practices to keep projects moving efficiently
- Work alongside a small, multi discipline engineering team
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related technical field
- 0 to 3 years of experience, including relevant coursework or project work for recent graduates
- Working knowledge of at least one of C#, Python, C++, Java, or MATLAB
- Familiarity with a version control tool such as Git
- Experience with relational databases and data analysis
- Exposure to designing, building, or maintaining enterprise applications
- Familiarity with inter process communication tools or techniques
- Basic understanding of control systems
- Master's degree in a related technical field
