Software Engineer; Early Career

New York, NY. Hybrid, Tuesday through Thursday in office. Compensation: $85,000-$100,000.

Swish Labs is an AI-native mortgage platform focused on making home lending faster, more transparent, and more trustworthy for homeowners and lenders. We replace fragmented software and manual workflows with intelligent automation and a unified system that modernizes mortgage origination.

We're a small team, which means early-career engineers here ship real features and work directly with senior engineers, not through layers of management.

You'll build and maintain features across our platform, frontend and backend, from the borrower-facing application flow to the services that move a loan through underwriting to funding. You'll ship to production early, learn how mortgage lending actually works, and grow into owning larger pieces of the product over time.

• Frontend features in our borrower-facing and lender-facing web apps
• Backend services in Go. If you haven't used Go, we'll teach you.
• APIs and integrations with the providers lenders rely on
• Tests, monitoring, and the small things that make software trustworthy

• 1-3 years of professional experience, or a strong track record of building web based applications
• Comfort working across the stack: a modern frontend framework, a backend language, and a relational database. You don't need to be expert in all three.
• Code you can walk us through and explain the tradeoffs in
• Curiosity, care for details, and comfort saying "I don't know that yet"
• Exposure to fintech, banking, lending, or another regulated field is a plus

A computer science degree is not required. Mortgage experience is not required.
