Senior Full Stack Developer - Hedge Fund

Attribution Search is partnered with a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund to hire a Treasury Technology Developer into its growing technology function.

The firm operates a sophisticated investment platform across multiple strategies, markets and geographies, with technology playing a central role in supporting its continued growth. This is an opportunity to join a high-performing engineering environment and build applications used directly by the Treasury function.

You will work closely with Treasury and Engineering teams to design and develop technology supporting cash management, liquidity, funding and broader treasury workflows.

This is a hands-on full-stack position, combining Python backend development with React-based applications and modern cloud and data technologies. You will have ownership across the development lifecycle, from understanding business requirements through to designing, building and delivering production solutions.

• Build full-stack applications using Python and React
• Develop APIs and backend services supporting Treasury workflows
• Work with SQL-based databases and modern data platforms including Snowflake
• Design solutions to automate and improve existing Treasury processes
• Partner directly with Treasury, Product, Data and Engineering stakeholders
• Debug and optimise applications across frontend, backend and data layers
• Take ownership of projects and deliver solutions from initial design through to production

• 7-12 years of Python development experience
• Experience building modern frontend applications using React
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and SQL
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar relational databases
• Exposure to AWS and cloud-based infrastructure
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including Git, testing and modern development practices
• Docker and CI/CD experience advantageous
• Previous exposure to Treasury, Finance or Capital Markets environments beneficial but not essential
