Position Title: Assistant Field Hockey Coach

Hiring Wage/Salary Range: $25.00 - $30.00/hour
Work Schedule: August 1st, 2025 – April 30th, 2026
In-season Hours (Aug‑Nov): 25 hours per week
Out-of-season Hours (Feb‑Apr): 18 hours per week
Appointment limited to 999 hours per year; exceeding this may lead to termination of appointment after one year of service.
Responsibilities- Assist the field hockey team during practices and competitions, including skill instruction.
- Adhere to Head Coach’s philosophy and expectations.
- Provide athletic instruction and coaching as directed.
- Manage program operations and administration assigned by the Head Coach.
- Scout opponents and code game plans.
- Analyze post‑game performance and provide insights.
- Assist with camps and clinics.
- Recruit student‑athletes as needed.
- Model leadership behaviors for student‑athletes.
1‑3 years of coaching experience or participation in field hockey.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree required.
Physical RequirementsNone specified.
Other InformationA current valid driver’s license is required, in accordance with the University’s Driver Safety and Motor Vehicle Use Policy.
