Group Fitness Instructor

Soundbody is a new concept at the intersection of fitness and music. We host group workout classes in premiere NYC nightclub venues with live DJs, creating an immersive workout experience where nightlife energy meets wellness culture. We are looking for founding instructors to lead weekly pop-up style classes launching this spring (3 hours 1x/week to start with potential for increased frequency).

This is a unique opportunity to join an early-stage, innovative brand and help shape the Soundbody movement.

• Develop creative and effective sculpt programming (including regression and progression options) for 50 minute classes, collaborating with DJs as needed to sync class programming with their set.
• Actively lead classes, participating in the workouts as you guide clients to follow along with you and cue to the beat.
• Create a lively atmosphere and keep class energy high.
• Motivate and inspire clients with engaging instruction and positive reinforcement.
• Promote upcoming classes and events to encourage participation.
• Foster community and help create a loyal, connected member base on and off the mat.

• Minimum of 12 months group fitness or boutique studio teaching experience (sculpt or music-driven workout experience is a plus).
• Certifications in group fitness, pilates, or related disciplines are preferred.
• Outgoing and energetic personality, with the ability to engage and motivate class participants.
• Passion for health and wellness, music, and community-building.
• Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality.
• Availability on weekday mornings between 6 and 9 a.m.
