Salary Range: $25 per hour for up to 17 hours a week
Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities:
The Program Coordinator for ESL/Sports Summer Program is responsible to assist in all aspects of the Implementation and growth of the program.
Principal Responsibilities:
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Assist with the planning and execution of ESL instruction and sports programming
* Collaborate on curriculum development and program design
* Collaborate with the athletic department to facilitate student-athlete involvement, ensuring sports sessions align with college-level standards and mentorship goals
* Support marketing and enrollment efforts, including participating in info sessions or outreach to schools, families, and partners
* Recruit, train, and supervise ESL instructors, sports mentors (student-athletes), and program support staff
* Oversee daily program logistics and scheduling
* Ensure safety protocols and program guidelines are followed
* Be on-site and on call when students are on campus
* Help to develop and implement department policies and procedures
Education Requirements:
B.A. Preferred, Coaching Certification
Training, Skills, Knowledge,
Experience:
Playing and/or training athletes, recruiting students from abroad, CPR/First Aid. Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
