Early Childhood Sport and Fitness Coach

Overview

Youth Athletes United was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Children need to have FUN while learning the FUNdamentals of sport. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete. The long-term impact will create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills and increase youth activity across the board.

We are seeking coaches for our multi-sport enrichment program with Amazing Athletes, founded in 2003 and one of the nation s largest multi-sport enrichment programs with over 50,000 kids enrolled each year. Our curriculum focuses on sports skills, social skills, and character development to create a positive and lasting impact on every child we coach.

• Coach in a multi-sport enrichment program and help children learn through play.
• Foster positive connections with children, parents, and the coaching team.
• Deliver a curriculum that emphasizes both skill development and character growth.
• Support a fun, inclusive, and safe learning environment.

• Experience:
  
  At least 2 years of coaching, teaching, or working with children. Experience with early childhood (ages 1-5) and children with learning or developmental disabilities is a plus.
• Traits We Value:

• Availability & Scheduling:
  Weekdays and weekends as described below; willingness to travel between locations as needed.

• Hours of Operation:
  Weekdays 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM. Weekdays are the main focus with potential weekend opportunities.
• Weekends:
  Saturday 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM or Sunday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
• Seasonal
  
  Schedule:
  
  Fall (early September to mid-December), Spring (late March to June), with limited hours in Winter and Summer.
• Transportation:
  Reliable transportation to travel to classes within 45 minutes. Classes are held across schools, parks, and recreational centers; travel to multiple locations per weekday may be required.

Tech-Friendly:
Comfortable using a mobile device for scheduling and communication.
