Assistant Varsity and Assistant Junior Varsity Coaches, Boys Volleyball

Overview

Trinity School, a co-educational, K-12 institution located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, seeks part-time Boys’ Volleyball Coaches for the Spring 2026 season. These part-time, seasonal, stipend positions begin in mid-February and end mid-May, although planning and communication outside of the season is required. The season includes multiple holidays which have no in-person commitments.

• Coaches and supports the Boys’ volleyball program on a part-time, seasonal basis; planning and communication outside of the active season as required.
• Attend practices and games; practices occur on weekdays with times varying between 3:30 and 6:00 PM.
• Contribute to a positive program environment by upholding team values such as sportsmanship, character, compassion, and integrity; foster effective relationships with athletes, coaches, and parents.
• Monitor and adapt coaching strategies to intermediate to advanced volleyball concepts, and support athletes’ development.
• Participate in approximately 6–8 competition dates, which may extend beyond 5:30 PM.

• Significant experience participating in and/or coaching competitive volleyball.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; collegiate volleyball experience is a plus.
• Ability to teach volleyball concepts at intermediate to advanced levels; strong organizational skills; intellectual curiosity; good communication skills; commitment to ongoing professional development; openness to others’ ideas; eagerness to extend themselves for others; and a sense of humor.
• Ability to manage relationships with athletes, coaches, and parents.
• Ability to attend practices and games.

Rate of Pay Range: $3,120.00 - $3,900.00 (mid-February through mid-May 2026)
