Personal Trainer

This is an on-site, position located in Tenafly, for a Personal Trainer at Kaplen JCC on the Palisades. The Person al Trainer will design and implement customized fitness plans tailored to individual client goals, provide one‑on‑one training sessions, lead group fitness classes, and offer guidance on effective exercise techniques to ensure safety and proper form. The role also involves conducting fitness assessments, tracking progress, and promoting a positive and inclusive fitness environment.

We are a very busy personal training location. There is a great opportunity to build a business for the right candidate.

• Proficiency in Personal Training and Fitness Instruction to effectively guide clients in achieving fitness goals and maintaining proper form during workouts
• Experience in different training methods and coaching to provide specialized training programs and motivate clients during sessions

Possession of relevant certifications such as NASM, ACE, or ISSA, or similar recognized accreditations

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients and foster a welcoming atmosphere
• A passion for health, wellness, and helping others reach their full potential
• Experience working in a gym, wellness center, or similar environment is advantageous
