Overview
Norman side CC is an 18 hole semi-private Golf Club founded in 1927 and is loctaed in Delmar NY which is minutes away from Downtown Albany. Norman side has a Membership of over 300 members which includes Golf, Pool and Social memberships. The club is known for it's vibrant, fun and family orientated atmosphere. The club has hosted numerous NENYPGA, NYSGA and AJGA events on our Championship Golf Course.
Norman side also has a full Driving Range and Short Game area for member and guest use. We are looking for an applicant who can assist in our continued growth while providing the highest levels of customer service to our Members and Guests.
- Experience with Tournament Software
- Tournament Management/Golf Genius. - Experience in organizing, promoting, and conducting professionally run member tournaments, leagues and outside golf events.
- Familiarity with managing tee times, creating event blocks and overseeing daily rounds played.
- Experience in club fitting and teaching and a willingness to further develop these skills.
- Knowledge of the USGA of Golf.
- Proficient computer skills including Word, Excel and POS systems.
- Assist in administering all POS applications as they apply to greens fees, merchandise sales and all member/guest billings.
- Reconcile daily tee sheets and perform check-ins while collecting payments from members and guests.
- Promote club activities including leagues and member events.
- Provide individual and group instruction.
- Prepare for all golf outings (member and outside) these duties include coordinating scorecards, cart signs, rules sheets, favors, pairing sheets and hole assignments.
- Follow established policies and procedures including opening and closing procedures.
- Provide high levels of customer service to insure member and guest satisfaction.
- Play golf with members when required.
- Maintain flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Director of Golf and the Head Professional.
- Monitor and provide diredtion to all outside operations staff.
- PGA Dues reimbursement for PGA Members and Assistants
- Playing and Practice privileges.
- Meals on duty.
- Discounts and Staff Professional opportunties.
