Baseball coach​/Instructor

Hi-Five Sports is dedicated to the development of children through sports. Our objective is not only to teach the fundamentals of a sport, but to teach children teamwork, sportsmanship and responsibility through athletics.
We are looking to add to our talent baseball coaching staff. We are looking for a candidate who can teach the fundamentals of the game in a group setting to children 5-8 years old. Our program runs on the weekends as well as two days during the week. The children will range in experience from having played for 2-3 years to never playing  ideal candidate(s) need to have a working knowledge of the game as well as the patience to teach young kids.
Salary is based upon experience

• Experience playing or coaching baseball minimum 2 years
• Must be creative, energetic and able to engage children 5-8 years old to play baseball
• Must be comfortable working with and communicating with both parents and league administration
• Must be punctual and reliable
• Must be flexible to adjust programming based on the size of the group and the venues

Programs can be operated out of local parks, schools, and community centers Our unique approach to sports programming and birthday parties will give families a memorable and delightful experience. Hi-Five Sports sees team sports as a vehicle for improving the current and future well being of children. Now more than ever, there is an urgent need for children to be physically active and dis-connected from technology.

Experiences and skills gained through sports are often forgotten or ignored, and generations of children are missing out on life lessons that would be instrumental to their personal growth.
