Job DescriptionNew York City is the largest fleet team for Voyager Global Mobility. Given the size and scale of our operations, the Fleet Associate plays a vital role in ensuring fleet efficiency, safety, and readiness across all active vehicles in the branch. The Fleet Associate supports the Fleet team in the day‑to‑day operations of vehicle management, including maintenance coordination, recordkeeping, vendor communication, and on‑site vehicle upkeep.
Your attention to detail and diligence ensures our driver customers enjoy spotless, well‑maintained vehicles – which keeps them satisfied and on the road! You will report to the Fleet Manager.
- Assist the Fleet team in scheduling and tracking vehicle maintenance/repairs/inspections and coordinating with vendors and service providers for vehicle pickup and drop‑off.
- Ensure all maintenance is completed on time and in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of fleet operations, including mileage, maintenance history, and service schedules; enter and update vehicle information in company systems.
- Maintain open communication between the fleet team, branch staff, and detailer to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in tracking and managing inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies used for vehicle maintenance.
- Perform or assist with light vehicle maintenance tasks such as replacing windshield wipers, air filters, and checking oil/fluid levels as needed.
- Assist in cleaning and preparing vehicles for deployment as needed, ensuring all units meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Previous experience in fleet operations, automotive service/repair, or logistics preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle components and maintenance.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with other team members.
- Prior experience cleaning and detailing vehicles required.
