Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate air and ocean import shipments from pre-alert through delivery
- Open and manage files in Cargo Wise One
- Review and validate shipping documents (HBL/MBL, AWB, Commercial Invoice, Packing List)
- Arrange customs clearance with brokers and monitor cargo release
- Submit or manage ISF filings and AES when applicable
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, exams, or documentation issues
- Arrange delivery with trucking companies and warehouses
- Communicate shipment status updates to customers and overseas agents
- Verify billing, costs, and charges before invoicing
- Maintain compliance with U.S. Customs and company SOPs
