Job Summary
Jet Blue is seeking enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individuals to join our Airport Operations team as full-time Airport Operations Agents. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring smooth airport operations, delivering an exceptional experience to passengers, and supporting the safe and efficient handling of all airport activities. Key Responsibilities- Assist passengers with check-in, boarding, and ticketing procedures while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Manage gate operations, including coordinating boarding and deplaning procedures efficiently and safely.
- Support flight crews by coordinating baggage handling, aircraft servicing, and operational readiness.
- Ensure compliance with airport security regulations, safety protocols, and airline policies.
- Resolve passenger inquiries, complaints, and irregular operations with professionalism and urgency.
- Collaborate with other airport departments, including ramp, security, and customer service teams, to ensure seamless airport operations.
- Perform administrative tasks such as documenting operational activities, reporting incidents, and maintaining accurate flight logs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle diverse passenger needs.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced airport environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with airline reservation and operational systems.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid identification and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Previous experience in airport operations, customer service, or the travel/aviation industry is preferred.
- Experience with baggage handling, ticketing, or flight coordination is a plus.
- Full-time, variable shifts based on flight schedules.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required.
