Logistics Coordinator

Summary

The Logistics Coordinator oversees domestic inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries while maintaining accurate shipment records for compliance and audit purposes. The role coordinates with warehouses, freight forwarders, US customs brokers and internal stakeholders, provides KPI analysis and vendor performance reports, and sources cost-effective rates for non-merchandise shipments. The coordinator also manages samples, Carnet ATA and FTZ shipments and supports operations during store openings and events.

• Oversee and execute domestic shipments for merchandise and non-merchandise products to stores and warehouses.
• Coordinate with storage warehouses, freight forwarders, customs brokers and Italian headquarters to ensure smooth, timely deliveries and resolve issues.
• Track and trace shipments, manage exceptions and ensure high on-time delivery rates.
• Source and negotiate spot rates for non-merchandise shipments while monitoring cost efficiency and staying within budget.
• Maintain accurate shipment documentation, review vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance, and manage samples and Carnet ATA/FTZ shipments.
• Monitor vendor performance, track transit times, and produce KPI and performance reports for senior logistics staff.

• 2+ years of logistics experience focused on domestic shipments.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, V/H Lookups).
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; proactive and detail-oriented.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams during openings and events.
