  • Present options for inbound transit times by selecting the best service based on product needs, origin, destination, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead RFPs for inbound vendors and evaluate new service offerings.
  • Maintain the relationship with the current freight forwarder, leading weekly and quarterly business reviews, and evaluate opportunities to onboard additional forwarders or ship directly with ocean carriers.
  • Collaborate with the 3PL to set and maintain priorities and SLAs for receiving accuracy and timeliness, and troubleshoot inbound issues.
  • Explore and evaluate drayage and inland transportation options to optimize port‑to‑DC movement.
  • Support distribution of donation goods by modeling and advising on the most economical shipping modes.
  • Serve as Bombas’s inbound shipping subject‑matter expert for Operations, Planning, Sourcing, Wholesale, and Finance.
  • Collaborate with Data & Analytics on shipping data ingestion, integrity, dashboarding, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing and Merchandising to maintain product attributes across systems, such as HTS codes and fabric content.
  • Manage inbound shipping readiness across our two existing DCs and support the launch of new DC nodes.
  • Author SOPs for new and revised inbound processes.
  • Manage projects across the inbound logistics space, driving value and service for Bombas.
  • Manage 1–2 Transportation Associates – support ad‑hoc analyses, shipment bookings for standard and express imports, and monitor key inbound metrics.
