Barrett Paving Materials is currently seeking an experienced CDL Class B Driver to join our team supporting both Jamesville and Litchfield locations. This position will involve driving to and from the plants, quarries, and job sites in a safe and efficient manner.

$25 - $27/hour

• Operate truck equipped with a live bottom body to transport dump loose material such as sand, gravel, crushed rock bituminous paving materials.
• Conduct pre‑trip/post‑trip inspection checklist on equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water.
• Carry out detailed instructions but also must be able to use good judgement in decision making and be able to work without direct supervision.
• Must be able to oil, grease and fuel truck.
• Operate the vehicle safely in traffic situations and follow the policies and procedures of the company.

• Must be able to climb onto and up and down a vehicle several times a day.
• Must be able to sit in a vehicle and operate it for several hours without stopping.
• Must be able to lift / move up to 50 pound.
• Adhere to all DOT and Barrett Paving Material safety regulations.
• Hold a valid NYS driver’s license - CDL.
• Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
