Responsibilities
Performs shuttle functions using a non‑articulated vehicle, loads and unloads aircraft/vehicles, sorts packages and performs other duties as assigned.
ScheduleMonday‑Friday PM 5:00 – 11:00 pm (approximate).
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma/GED.
Minimum ExperienceNone.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Successfully complete all basic and re‑currency training.
- Lifting ability up to 50 lbs.
- Maneuvering packages above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
- Use of power and hand tools.
- Meet qualifications outlined in section 391 of the federal motor carrier safety regulations.
- Effective verbal communication in noisy operations environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.
- Medical exam required in accordance with FHWA or FAA regulations.
- Non‑covered safety sensitive position.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Must be licensed for type of equipment assigned.
