We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Van Driver to join our team at Clove Lakes Health Care and Rehabilitation Center, a premier healthcare facility on Staten Island, NY. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional service to our residents and their loved ones, ensuring their overall well-being and satisfaction.

Salary range: $21.50/hr - $24.50/hr based on prior work experience.

The Van Driver is responsible for safely transporting the residents to and from appointments, medical visits, and other activities. The van driver is also responsible for safely transporting the family members who require transportation to visit our residents.

• A valid class C driver's license with the passenger endorsement.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

• Clean Driving Record: A history of safe driving.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work with a variety of disabilities and personalities.

• Drive vehicle from community to social and other various destinations according to assigned schedule.

• Assist residents into and out of vehicle in a safe manner.

• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trip.

• Practice safe driving techniques at all times.

• Report potentially unsafe conditions to the Administrator.

• May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
