Delivery Driver

Parts Authority offers immediate career opportunities for Delivery Drivers in our rapidly expanding division. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to manage deliveries efficiently. • Load, transport, and deliver automotive parts to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Take directions from the dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes and time schedules, and use navigation apps as needed.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with customer operations.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints professionally.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports, and reconcile invoices and credit balances.
• Complete daily maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle and report any issues.
• Assist in other store or warehouse duties (stocking, parts pulling, etc.) as assigned.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Driver must be 21 years old or over to meet insurance requirements.
• Current valid automobile insurance with the applicant’s name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (auto body parts collision drivers must lift 75 lbs).
• Ability to manage, track, and account for money transactions and reconcile customer balances.
• Proficiency with a tablet or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, and customer interface/signature capture.
• Exceptional customer and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take and follow directions and work well with others as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
