Job Summary

Classic Carriers is hiring OTR Class A truck drivers. Drivers will haul freight from Ohio and Indiana to the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Upper Midwest. You earn a base pay of $0.56 CPM (Frills package) or $0.66 CPM (No‑Frills package), with increases at 6‑, 12‑, and 24‑month milestones. A $3,000 sign‑on bonus is available for experienced drivers.

• Operate a tractor‑trailer combination with a reefer unit.
• Perform daily pre‑trip, en‑route, and post‑trip inspections.
• Hook and unhook trailers, verify, and complete required documentation.
• Maintain accurate daily logs and communicate with dispatch.
• Provide excellent customer service and comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• Valid Class A CDL or completion of Classic Carriers driver training program.
• At least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (military experience acceptable).
• Minimum age 21 years.
• Acceptable motor vehicle record with no more than 15 MPH over‑speed citations in the last 3 years.
• No DOT preventable or recordable accidents in the last 5 years.
• No felony convictions.
• Meet all DOT (FMC 391) regulatory requirements.

• Base Pay Schedule (Frills package)
  • 0–6 months: $0.56 CPM
  • 6–12 months: $0.58 CPM
  • 12–24 months: $0.60 CPM
  • 24+ months: $0.62 CPM
• Base Pay Schedule (No‑Frills package)
  • 0–6 months: $0.66 CPM
  • 6–12 months: $0.68 CPM
  • 12–24 months: $0.70 CPM
  • 24+ months: $0.72 CPM
• Additional stops/pickups: $25 each.
• Detention pay: $20 per hour after the first hour.
• Layover pay: $150 per night.
• Holiday pay: $150 per holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year).
• Weekend deliveries: $100 bonus.
• NYC trips: $150 bonus as optional.
• Longevity bonus: $0.02 CPM per practical mile (paid quarterly).
• Safety bonus: $0.03 CPM per practical mile (paid quarterly if qualified).

• Health insurance after 30 days.
• Dental insurance after 30 days.
• Life insurance $20,000 after 30 days.
• STD (Short‑Term Disability) insurance after 30 days.
• 401(k) with company match.
• Per diem: $80 per night on the road.
• Modern fleet: 2021 or newer Freightliner Cascadias with automatic transmission, refrigerator, 1500‑W inverter, and optimized idle system.
• Family rider policy after 90 days; immediate family only, age 14+.
• Pets (dogs and cats under 40 lbs) allowed with deposit.
• Optional streaming TV service (deducted $15.63 weekly, reimbursed quarterly if safety bonus earned).
• Access to driver lounge with shower, laundry, kitchen, cable TV, and recliners.
