In your role as a School Bus Operator, you will operate a school bus safely while following a strict schedule. The ideal candidate holds a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements and possesses a strong commitment to safety and a clean driving record. If you excel in a fast-paced environment and are eager to support our students, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:- Safely pick up and drop off students at designated bus stops
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the vehicle, promptly reporting any issues
- Assist students with safe boarding and exiting of the bus
- Engage with students in a friendly and approachable manner
- Valid CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements
- DOE Certified/OPT Qualified
- Impeccable driving record with no recent accidents or citations
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
- Competency in following GPS directions
