Frequently Asked Questions What type of vehicle will I be driving?Green Apple's fleet includes box trucks and cargo vans used to transport catering orders and event equipment. The specific vehicle depends on the size of the delivery. A standard driver's license covers most vehicles in our fleet.
Do I need a CDL or special license?A CDL is not required for most deliveries. A valid New York State driver's license with a clean record is sufficient. Experience driving box trucks or large vehicles in NYC traffic is preferred but not mandatory.
Will I be making multiple deliveries per shift?Yes. Depending on the day's event schedule, you may handle multiple deliveries across different boroughs in a single shift. Our operations team coordinates routes to maximize efficiency, but flexibility is essential.
Is this an early-morning or evening position?Shift times vary based on the event schedule. Many corporate deliveries happen early morning for breakfast and lunch service, while social and evening events may require afternoon or evening shifts. Flexibility with scheduling is important for this role.
