Location: New York
About the Role
Local P&D Drivers with experience delivering LTL Freight in the Five Boroughs and Long Island Markets wanted. Our drivers are home every day. All routes are locally based short haul runs.
Responsibilities- Safely operate the vehicle within DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, maintenance, and transportation of hazardous materials.
- Read and interpret shipping labels and complete various forms utilized in freight movement.
- CDL Class A with X & T endorsements. Hazmat endorsement required.
- 2 years verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Good driving record. Clean MVR.
- Must be able to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Minimum age 23.
- Company driver (trucking driver type).
- Medical, Vision, and Dental benefits.
- 2 weeks paid vacation.
- 6 paid personal days.
- Safety bonus program.
- Quarterly bonus programs.
Pay: $40.00 per hour. Full-time position.
